Workshops
1) Introduction to ADHD: What Teachers Need to Know
Learning Objectives
Teachers will be able to:
- Understand signs, diagnosis, and treatment of ADHD
- Recognize symptoms of executive dysfunction and ADHD in their students
- Prepare a report for student support team or input into a 504/IEP plan
- Formulate strategies for supporting students with ADHD
2) Teaching Strategies for ADHD
Learning Objectives
Teachers will be able to:
- Use classroom management techniques for ADHD students
- Present material in formats that work for a variety of executive function strengths and challenges
- Implement required accommodations successfully
3) Executive Function & Student Learning
Learning Objectives
Teachers will be able to:
- Understand the concept of Executive Function
- See the connections between Executive Function and Learning
- Analyze student work for Executive Function Strengths & Weaknesses
- Learn workarounds for students to overcome EF weaknesses
All workshops combine a lively presentation by Mr. Zeitlin with hands-on group work by teachers
Pricing per workshop (10% discount if you order the full workshop series)
2 hour workshop: $1,000
3 hour workshop: $1,500
4 hour workshop: $2,000
In-person delivery of workshops available for an additional $1,000 plus travel expenses.
