Learning Objectives
- Teachers will understand the concept of Executive Function
- Teachers will be able to name the Executive Functions as examples for each
- Teachers will understand the connections between Executive Function and student learning
- Teachers will begin to be able to analyze student work for Executive Function strengths and weaknesses
- Teachers will begin to be able to help students remediate their EF weaknesses and play to their EF strengths
Workshop Agenda
- Interactive Presentation: Introduction to Executive Function (EF)
- Specific examples of connections between EF and Math
- Specific examples of connections between EF and Reading
- Examples of how to remediate EF Gaps
- Examples of how to help students learn to play to their EF strengths
- Teachers work in small groups to analyze real student work and how EF helps and hurts
- Teacher groups present their findings back to whole group

2 hour workshop: $1,000
3 hour workshop: $1,500
4 hour workshop: $2,000
Prefer to deliver workshops remotely via Zoom, but in-person sessions are available for an additional $1,000 plus travel expenses.
