Parenting Program for Executive Function
Coach Your Own Child is a parenting system designed to help parents improve their parenting during difficult situations with their children.
HabitCoach works with PTAs, using sales of "Coach Your Own Child" as a fundraising vehicle.
What is Coach Your Own Child?
Coach Your Own Child is a parenting system that will help parents lead with confidence.
It guides them in helping their children change behavior by using strategies that truly
work for them. Along the way, both parents and children learn the importance of Executive Function.
Be Authoritative, Not Authoritarian or Permissive
Our program’s philosophy promotes Authoritative Parenting, which helps parents set
boundaries while still seeking input from their children. Research indicates that
Authoritative parenting approaches are more effective than both Permissive and
Authoritarian styles. In fact, extensive research shows a direct connection between
Authoritative Parenting and better academic performance.
We Provide Tools and Language That Work
Using models that have been well-researched and documented, we will provide you with the tools and
language to support outstanding parenting.
We Make Parenting Feel So Much Easier

This program gives parents the tools you need in those moments when real-life challenges present themselves.
Coach Your Own Child gives parents a clear, actionable way to understand their child’s brain—and help them thrive.
