How I work with kids:
- Having navigated ADHD myself, I can empathize with my students' struggles and demonstrate that success is achievable, which can inspire and motivate them.
- I help students develop their executive function skills by using gamification techniques like "Avoidance Bingo" and "Dice Roll Strategy," which engage learning and turn daunting tasks into fun activities.
- I tailor each session to the unique strengths and weaknesses of my students, ensuring lessons are both educational and enjoyable by leveraging learning styles and empowering them to transform their 'no-pamine' tasks into dopamine tasks.
- I guide parents on how to support their children outside of our sessions to reinforce and sustain their progress and development.
